I love my freckles, really I do. Even when I was in jr and sr high I never wanted to cover them. They give me color, character, and hide some of the redness.
I have to tell my girls to at least once a week to embrace the freckles. There is no fighting them. Even with a SPF 70 sunscreen the freckles appear, sometimes daily. Hopefully they will.
Here is my proof that there is no escaping them.

Also, please note the pride in SuperChic’s eyes. She has lost four teeth in less than two weeks. The bottom two were lost Tuesday, 9/9, and Thursday 9/11, I think. the two top ones we pulled this morning.
Here’s a hint on an easier way to get a loose tooth out. Tie dental floss around the top of the tooth, make sure you knot it. Give the kid a Popsicle, to numb it up, and give it a little tug. Her tooth came out on the second or third tug. And I mean a little tug, nothing really hard. (The Popsicle also helps to keep the tooth from bleeding, a plus in my book).

I’ve always loved freckles, though I don’t know if Africans freckle. I have noticed that as I’m getting older I’m getting what I’m told are skin tags. If they weren’t the tiniest bit lumpy I’d love them…maybe I will in time!
Look how huge superchic’s eyes were behind those glasses! Gorgeous.

We are done with losing teeth. The kids pulled their own by holding the tooth with a dish towel and pulled. The towel gives them the grip they need.
I love freckles. My kids look great in them. I think it makes them look fresh and healthy. At their last Dr. visit she made a point of telling me that they were a sign of skin damage….(we weren’t using enough sunscreen)…viva la freckles.
