Sunday was spent at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure parks. The girls and I had a really great day.

We rode some rides, shopped, ate free tortillas, and watched the fireworks. I really love the way the castle looks wit all the lights on it.

We’d never seen Small World decorated for Christmas before. It was a real treat.

The Haunted Mansion is still all decked out, and will be until January 3rd. Hopefully we can make it back one more time before it returns to it’s normal decor. Seeing Jack, Oogie, and Zero always make the girls crack up.

I think some of my favorite decorations were in A Bug’s Land. Everything is so huge to make us feel so tiny. The girls and I rode Heimlich’s Chew-Chew Train and Tuck and Roll’s Bumper Cars for the first time. I preferred the train, though the animal cracker box made me hungry because it really smelled like animal crackers.

We all wore our new hats, too.

I’m working on getting items into my shop and made for Christmas. This year is definitely the handmade Christmas that I didn’t do last year like I wanted to.

With Christmas only 15 days away I only have about 12 more days to get things made. Which isn’t so bad, but my list of things I need to make keeps growing instead of shrinking.

On top of all the Christmas madness Shawn goes back out on the road on Monday, with a student. This means I need to have him packed by Saturday. Considering we really don’t want him to go I keep putting off what needs to be done. Which is why I’m posting this and working on my shop instead of doing the things I need to do, like sewing, so I can get home early today.

Did I mention that Sunday is my birthday? Yep, I’ll be 31 in case you’re wondering. I have no idea where the last year went, but it sure went by quickly.
