    Can I Commit?

In an attempt at being a better blogger I am attempting to take one photo a day for a year. This is not a new concept, but after finding a free Project 365 app for my phone the other day I figured, why not?

Some of my photos will be with my trusty point and shoot, others my “big” camera, and others with my camera phone. A photo, is a photo, is a photo no matter the quality. I’m striving for better quality, but sometimes it just doesn’t happen.

This also means that you will be subjected to random things I see around my house that amuse me.

Photos will not be uploaded in order, it all depends on which contraption they are on, and I will not post all photos here due to the privacy rights of others. Not that I’m stealing images, I just have friends who don’t get blogging and aren’t sure they want their families involved.

SuperChic and her fashion always makes me laugh, or at least roll my eyes. Her ladybug poncho was stashed in her purse. She brings a purse because “packbacks” aren’t allowed. This isn’t a Project 365 photo, just one I liked.

    1/365

1/365 I think this is my favorite corner in my MIL’s house. I’m not sure why, but it is.

    2/365

2/365 Yes, I sleep with this above my bed every night. No I do not live in the wild-wild-west.

    4/365

4/365 My Chuck mug. Which some day I will properly photograph.

5/365 The most awesome suitcase ever.

    Haven

    May 14, 2010

Not that I don’t have enough dogs to find homes for, but here a few who won my heart when we were at our local shelter earlier in the week. We weren’t shopping for another pet, just looking for our missing cat, who came home the following morning after being gone for two days.

    Lover
This boy is a total love. Happy, tail-wagging, tongue-licking, and waiting for someone to take him home and be his best friend.

I have always loved Pit Bulls. I always will. Their “known” disposition is not bred into them it is trained into them by incompetent people who should be treated the same way they treat their pet. Sorry about that little rant, but people who mistreat their dogs and train them to fight really p1$$ me off.

This lady was as happy as can be to have someone come and pet her. She has recently had a litter or puppies and seems to have a great disposition. She really loved SuperChic and licked her until i said it was time to go.

    awww

This last boy, is a little bouncy, but you would be to if you were locked up all day.

The Haven needs all the help they can get. They do their best to walk each dog every day, but I’m sure some days it just doesn’t happen. They can always use donations of blankets, food, and general pet supplies.

So, if you’re in the market for a dog, don’t rule out your local shelter. Sometimes an adult dog makes for a better pet than a puppy.

Which reminds me, 2 1/2 more weeks until I need to find homes for my eight puppies!
